Forgive #writebravely #celebratewritetribe

After all that’s transpired,

Broken promises and

Tears unshed

Wounded pride and

Trampled desires

You do it with ease

Without an iota

Of remorse you seek

Rather command

Forgive.

Writing to me is therapy, it frightens and comforts at the same time. Liberates like nothing else. A book in my own name is a dream, but a bigger dream would be to write something that haunts the reader even after the last page is turned and the book is shut. I enjoy reading and music, spending time with family whilst battling my social awkwardness.

  1. Some people do do that. They dilute the importance of your pain that they caused. Sad.

    Poignant but realistic poem.

  2. This is the problem with forgiveness. The recipient tends to believe “all is well”. I believe forgiveness should be an internal matter, just to soothe our souls and not a way to relieve the responsibilities of the wrong doer. Karma helps sometimes . 🙂
