A lump formed in her throat as a tiny hand wrapped itself around her fingers.
The eyes oozed excitement, his joy knowing no bounds as he stepped into his repainted room.
The smallest of things made her son happy and she felt blessed everytime she could make him smile.
It felt like a dream come true, like the little one was making heartprints inside her, just like he had done the first time he had smiled at her, like the first time he held her index finger with so much confidence and surety that he had become her inspiration from that moment on.
I am participating in the WriteTribe ProBlogger Challenge and today is the last day with the prompt being Heartprints
