Book Review of The Money Lender by Manju Nambiar
The Money Lender by Manju Nambiar is a delightful yet short read. With just a couple of short stories, the author has managed to sketch a beautiful pen picture of the quaint little village Gulf Town which could be nestled anywhere in Kerala.
The stories are told through the eyes of the money lender who is unlike the classic greedy money lenders whom we have seen in various books.
Manju Nambiar has spun well written tales that provide insights into the home of any Malayalee and the relations kept by them. The only thing being that the book ended too soon.
Do read this if you are looking for short interesting reads that have an ethnic touch. It is available on Kindle Unlimited too if you have a subscription.
