Where Are You Now?

Where are you now?

No no, I know that you are reading this from your mobile or computer, but that is not my question. Neither am I asking for your location.

The question is, where are you now, like in life?

How far have you come in your journey; are you on the path you planned for yourself or are you going where life is taking you?

I never had plans, only dreams. Dreams, of being somewhere, of being someone and of doing something; but this..where I am today, was not on my radar at all, not even in the wildest of my dreams.

Is it a bad thing?

Though it is not something I wanted, though it did seem unfair that I need to be here, it isn’t as bad as it could have been.
I’m definitely grateful for what I have in life now, but I know that this is temporary and that God’s plans for me are bigger than what I can see right now.
That is exactly what I want to tell you today. If you are stuck, if you feel that you are not getting what is rightfully yours, pause.

Breathe.

This is just temporary. Know that as long as you try, what you deserve shall soon be yours. Hugs.

Writing to me is therapy, it frightens and comforts at the same time. Liberates like nothing else. A book in my own name is a dream, but a bigger dream would be to write something that haunts the reader even after the last page is turned and the book is shut. I enjoy reading and music, spending time with family whilst battling my social awkwardness.

  1. I can very much relate to this. I’ve always been a dreamer and not a doer. I’m doing some of the things I thought I would, but not all of them. I love what you say about being grateful and realising it’s all only temporary. So true!

  2. Our breath, that’s the only truth of our life.A nice reminder for me to stop, pause, breathe, dream and move forward and yet realize that “This too shall pass”…:)
