The Experiment

Christmas was always their favorite festival. The dad-daughter duo decked up their whole house like it was a wedding. This time little Lia insisted on putting up the lights herself, she’d just turned 22 after all. Dad, very fathery was paranoid about his daughter dying from shock.
When she thought she was done, she sent her dad to switch on the fuse. What a marvelous sight the tree and the lights made. “See dad! I did it. Now please let me take up that residential college for my Masters.”
Poor dad didn’t know what to say….

Writing to me is therapy, it frightens and comforts at the same time. Liberates like nothing else. A book in my own name is a dream, but a bigger dream would be to write something that haunts the reader even after the last page is turned and the book is shut. I enjoy reading and music, spending time with family whilst battling my social awkwardness.
