Review
Kunal Pancholi in his début book Metamorphing, tries to write a story that spans 50 years. This futuristic novel weaves an impressive story that tells the story of two people who lives years apart but still are connected to one another in some bizarre form. One man who is desperately trying to run away from something in his past, whereas another one who would do anything to remember anything from his past.
The books makes for an interesting read, each chapter alternatively narrated by the two protagonists. The author has built the characters pretty nicely and the narrative keeps the reader interested in the story. The added bonus is the presence of not one, but two love stories.
Though the suspense is revealed well before the book ends, the reader’s curiosity about how the story unfolds keeps her hooked. It is a brave attempt from the author’s side to tell such a story, for I do not know if such a story was ever narrated.
I would definitely recommend Metamorphing for those who love suspense thrillers.
